Mr. Sharad Chauhan is a Partner at Atif Suhrawardy & Partners LLP and primarily represents clients before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench. He plays a key role in managing the Firm's litigation practice before these judicial forums.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the prestigious Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, in 2014 and subsequently enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. Since then, he has built a strong practice in constitutional, environmental and commercial litigation.
Mr. Chauhan has successfully represented the State of Uttar Pradesh as its Standing Counsel before the Hon'ble National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi. His experience also includes advising and representing government authorities, public bodies and leading corporate organizations in complex legal proceedings.
He has worked closely with reputed corporate entities, including M/s Ramky Infrastructure Limited, and serves as entrusted counsel for the Kanpur Development Authority before various forums in Delhi. He possesses significant expertise in environmental litigation, particularly matters relating to sand mining, before the National Green Tribunal and the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
